During her residency in Istanbul, Agnes Questionmark explored the interrelationship between humans and sea creatures in the metropolis. Slaughtering fish is an ongoing activity which is emptying the ocean and establishing a hierarchical natural structure. By performing such inhuman activities and becoming the animal, Questionmark aims to change the perception of sea creatures and to build non-human bonds with the sea. Our existence is at stake and under a process of deconstruction. We might question our future on the planet, where soon humans will be fish and fish will be humans.
